Who is on the UFC 210 main card?
Gunter was stopped by first-round submission by Joe Giannetti in the quarterfinals. Zuniga was then stopped by Giannetti in the semifinals by first-round sub. Gunther then lost to Mike Trizano as he was picked to replace Luis Pena, who left the competition with a fractured foot. Both fighters enter undefeated and fought in much smaller circuits. Smullen has a draw to his record and it came in his last fight.
Pena does not and all four of his wins are via stoppage. De La Rosa is a favorite. De La Rosa has an excellent submission game and that will probably be the difference here. Julian Marquez is a favorite against Alessio Di Chirico at pounds. Di Chirico has alternated losses and wins in his four UFC fights so far.
The bounce back knockout win over Oluwale Bamgbose was huge for Di Chirico, but he finds himself a dog here. Keep that in mind before you celebrate that win for him. The longer this fight goes, the better it is for Di Chirico. This is technically a rematch between Roxanne Modafferi and Barb Honchak. Honchak was the winner by rear naked choke. That was a long time and a lot of fights ago. Modafferi actually made it into the UFC: TUF 18 cycle and lost to Raquel Pennington, whose career has gone quite well since then.
Then Modafferi got a title shot when Eubanks had to back out against Nicco Montano for the flyweight strap. Basically, Modafferi made her own breaks early, got Dana White to take a look at her, and has sort of stayed around the promotion for a while.
The year-old will get her third career UFC shot here. Honchak is giving up some size and some reach here. Things are a lot different from the first meeting between the two way back in Honchak was the titleholder in Invicta, but the two never crossed paths after that fight.
They do now and Modafferi is a much better fighter than she was back then. She has a size edge and maybe a little bit of a gas tank edge. Honchak ended a month hiatus with that fight against Murphy.
Modafferi has been fighting all along. This looks like a potential upset special. Martin Bravo is in his pro MMA career and is an underdog to a guy that is That guy is Alex Cacares.
It took 26 seconds for Humberto Bandenay to put Bravo to the canvas and that was that. He won that fight and then went exactly 10 months before the ill-fated fight with Bandenay. These fights and more present an excellent opportunity for UFC fans to be pumped up for the card. With current lightweight champion Conor McGregor still out of the picture and likely to be out for a while, it has been stated multiple times leading up to the fight that this highly anticipated main event between Ferguson and Nurmagomedov will determine the real champion.
This fight, scheduled for the fourth time in the past three years, is already predicted to be one of the best fights of the year. Every MMA fan is dying to see this one. Namajunas was a sizable underdog coming into their last fight, but the gap has closed significantly. Notably, though, Namajunas remains the underdog here. Renato Moicano and Calvin Kattar combine for a heavily underrated fight. We saw how good Kattar looked in his last few fights, especially when he broke onto the scene by defeating Andre Fili at UFC Moicano only has one loss on his record — it came against the next featherweight title challenger, Brian Ortega — and he still has massive potential to be great in the near future.
Chiesa and Pettis are two big names in the lightweight division.
